Panama!

 

Let's connect with the country of abundant fish and butterflies, Panama.

 

Start from the 1800s, black Jamaican, Antigua, Antilles have been coming to the Central American country which, at that time Panama was still part of Colombia. They work on the Panama Canal, building the rail trains, and the Banana Industry which was well paid. Being English speaking help in working for American Company in which later being bilingual was helpful in getting small Caribbean Island of Bocas del Toro Town to grow to a major tourist water sport destination as it is today.

Boquete

The mountain village of Boquete offers something close to heaven for American retirees. Panama is a smart choice for first timer, retirees, for people of color who want it all in a country that really wants you to feel at home, relax and confortable. Located 2 and a half hours from Miami FL and non stop flights to other parts of the United States.

Boquete is decidedly, safe, friendly offering a wide range of back home amenities, from 18 hole golf courses to High - End gated communities, good local transport, organic food services, over 60+ restaurants and many American products plus being 30 minutes from the second largest city David for all your shopping needs. For some expats it also offers an opportunity for reinventation. There is a growing tourist market with it being known for Coffee plantation, Volcano and Hot Spring.
